
If you landed on this page, then you know just how hard it can be to ask for help when you need it. It’s possible that you just don’t ask, or it’s possible that you do quite frequently, whichever it may be, don’t feel ashamed for asking for help, because it’s okay to.
Whether you ask your friend, family member, or colleage from work, it’s important that your mental health is in check and your children are taken care of. I know it can feel difficult asking, but letting go of that barrier and just asking can open doors in your life as well.
From my experience, I would wait sometimes till it was my last resort to ask for help. I was lucky to have financial support from my family, but I know that many single parents don’t have that privledge to ask from their family. Know that there are resources out there to help you in dire need and there is even always a stranger that will help you.
