Well, being a single parent is challenging yes, but the opportunities for grants and scholarships are tremendous.

You can go to college or University by applying to Student Aid BC, and after you enter in your ‘single parent’ status on your application, you will qualify for additional grant money to go towards your education each semester you apply.

College ends up being more expensive then University, however it has a faster end date.
